Alchemy: Occupy Your Sacred Self , a gathering of women from all spiritual and faith perspectives exploring together the intersection of women’s transformative leadership and authentic feminine spirituality, November 7-10, 2013 at the Sofitel San Francisco Bay.
We are now inviting proposals for 90 minute break-out sessions which will offer a variety of Embodied Experiences for our participants.
This might include:
· healing/ herbs
· massage and bodywork
· ritual and ceremony
· song or chanting
· silence and guided meditation
· labyrinth or other walking meditation
NOTE: These are not workshops in the typical sense but sessions which will help women to integrate their Alchemy experiences in their bodies through right-brain activities, movement, sound, non-verbally or through other sacred experiences. We have multiple break out spaces available ranging from intimate settings (2-4 women) up to 35 women. No audio-visual equipment is provided.
Women of Spirit and Faith is working with a lean budget for this event and will be asking all of our volunteers, presenters, musicians and artists to register for the Alchemy event at the current discount rate to pay expenses for venue, meals and other logistical costs. This deeply discounted summer registration fee includes 2 lunches, 2 dinners and Sunday brunch as well as all the Alchemy sessions, ceremonies and celebrations for just $299. And the Sofitel is also offering a low room rate of $103 single or double. Registration and more information can be found at: http://womenofspiritandfaith.org/the-alchemy-event/ . Please let us know if this will be a hardship for you and we will do our best to work with you.
