In the past month, we had the opportunity to celebrate two milestone birthdays in our core circle – a 50th birthday ceremony in the redwoods of Sonoma County and an 80th birthday Sacred Blessing Circle on Zoom. Our amazing Erin Erickson crafted personalized Birthday Blessings to the 7 Directions for each of these gatherings — and shared profound wisdom when she observed that “vulnerability and strength are not opposites but allies.”

In the extreme vulnerability of these in-between times, it is important to remember that our deepest sorrow and grief are actually intricately intertwined with our greatest strengths. It is only because we are so strong that we can allow ourselves to feel genuine empathy and compassion for all of Life; it is only by being more open, more authentic, more vulnerable that we develop more strength.

As we sit in this tunnel between the Full Moon/ Lunar Eclipse of September 7 and the coming Equinox/Solar Eclipse on September 21, many of us are feeling a sense of heaviness.  We feel an urgency to somehow take action that will help — yet we can’t picture what kind of action might actually make a difference. We long to create something NEW and yet the vision for that new world remains fuzzy and unclear. Meanwhile, the worst instincts of the old world — fear, hatred, bigotry, misogyny, the careless destruction of our planet — are all on the rise. This is a very challenging assignment we have said yes to!

And this is where the light comes streaming in…

We did say YES to this assignment and we were chosen to be here now because we know how to midwife the birth of something new as we hospice what it dying. We know how to maintain our spiritual resilience in the face of brutal realities and we know how to inspire faith and stamina in others. 

And we are not alone. 

For decades, we women have been gathering and listening and speaking from our hearts and stitching powerful webs of feminine wisdom. Our circles and webs have been connecting and collaborating to form potent hubs of sacred feminine energy that have now anchored deep into the Earth and intricately woven with Star Beings, ancestors, angels and all forms of spiritual guidance. We are part of a vast network of grounded Sacred power more potent that any of us can imagine.  

Spiritual messengers are actively affirming that we have done remarkable work and humanity has evolved much more rapidly than our celestial guides ever imagined. We are on the cusp of a huge shift for humanity and our planet — and we CAN HELP by believing that and celebrating that and being grateful for that!
